Children's Creative Learning Center

At CCLC, our experienced staff works to create exciting, stimulating experiences that will help your child love learning. And at the root of everything we do is a safe, loving environment. When you leave your child in our care, you can rest assured that they will be safe and secure until they are in your care again.

Built around monthly themes and weekly units relevant to children's lives, our curriculum is designed to promote development on every level: social, emotional, cognitive and physical. Designed by Director Carrie Lau, who has 22 years' experience in early childhood education, the curriculum is constantly reassessed and refined to reflect the latest educational developments and to respond to the individual needs of our students. Our very low caregiver/teacher to student ratios – one caregiver to 10 students in our Preschool Program and one-to-four in our Infant and Toddler Program – means that we can quickly and easily respond to children's individual needs and learning styles.

One of the attributes that sets CCLC apart is our flexibility. We work with parents to create the schedule that works for them and their children – whether that means being with us a few hours a week for drop-in care or all day, every day.

We are located in the center of Cheshire, Connecticut in the historic Watch Factory Shoppes, nestled away from Route 10 just behind the Town Hall. With its well-equipped classrooms and safely enclosed outdoor play space, our facility is the perfect place for your child explore, learn and grow.
